Christmas brings polar-opposites "Django Unchained" and "Les Misérables" to the theater

Regarding Jamie Foxx's statement, it was a joke, part of his Saturday Night Live monologue. Maybe it was a bad, unfunny joke--after all, we're talking SNL, which was only good between the years 1975-79--but Mr. Foxx does not hate the white race, nor does he want to kill all of us. Better to worry about entertainers like Ted Nugent, who truly does appear on the verge of joining the USA's mass murderer club.

Scene Stealers: The best movies of 2012

Outstanding list, outstanding movies. In fact, most of these movies have played Lawrence and some still are. My only complaint is the omission of The Sessions, which breaks more barriers than any Tarantino movie and deals with topics as important as any Spielberg movie. (as for Django being left out of Eric's list, so what? Tarantino's so impressed with himself that he doesn't need critics or audiences) If folks can't stand Eric's choices, well then this site provides blog space for different views. Don't whine, make a case for your choices--and use titles rather than initials if you want to reach beyond the tragically hip readership.
