I often wonder if the squashed squirrels in the middle of the road were just trying to get a nicotine fix off the butts left on the road by drivers. Then, splat!

I've only heard it referred to as the microwave tower. Supposedly it won architectural awards when it was built. By the way, the eyes were real. Back a few years ago someone spraypainted them that way. I never found out who...

the eyes are no longer a part of the tower. they were removed quite some time ago.
