Local musician Kristie Stremel records anti-Chick-fil-A song

Long story short: Chick-fil-A president Dan Cathy says in an interview, "We are very much supportive of the family — the biblical definition of the family unit. We are very much committed to that. We intend to stay the course. We know that it might not be popular with everyone, but thank the Lord, we live in a country where we can share our values and operate on biblical principles.”

Following this, the Jim Henson Company removed its toys from the Chick-fil-A kids' meals, but Chick-fil-A claims it was done because of safety issues. They then cause further issues with what may or may not be fake Facebook accounts supporting the fast food chain.

People are up in arms, with advocates for gay marriage denouncing Chick-fil-A at every possible opportunity, and Mike Huckabee and Rick Santorum on the other side backing the company to the point of suggesting a "National Chick-fil-A Appreciation Day."

One activist decidedly against the chain is local musician Kristie Stremel, formerly of area groups like Exit 159. She recorded a brief song called "Cluck Off!" You can see it above, complete with the absolutely fantastic couplet "I love your chicken sandwich/ but you're damning me to hell."
