    I moved to Portland, Oregon in August, and this video reminds me of how truly wonderful Lawrence can be. I love it.

    Lawrence was the best place to be last night. We started out at the East Lawrence block party (and thanks for the kind comments on the video), sauntered to Love Garden for the "This is My Condition" show, and emerged from there to find some pretty awesome street drummers out in front of the Replay. It was the kind of evening that reminds me why I live here in the first place.

    Alm: Thanks. The video needs a lil' fine-tuning, but that wasn't awful for about an hour's work, I didn't think.

    And yes: I would still LOVE to see contributed videos from all y'all.

    I agree about the editing--for some reason, the close-up of the spinning bike wheel made me really happy.

    As someone who has always enjoyed visiting Lawrence without knowing too much about it, I'm really enjoying these videos, this one in particular.

    It's still a little hard for me to imagine Burroughs having lived there, though . . .
