Nothing wrong with a specific cause -- "Do something to stop the drunk frat boys and other socially unchecked bigots from beating up gay folks afterhours." It's bound to be more effective than a completely nebulous rally cry -- "Somebody Should Do Something About All the Problems" ( http://www.theonion.com/content/node/... , yeah that was 2 onion references in one comment)Where are said beatings in the news? Have there been police reports filed?

I'm curious as well, I haven't heard of any beatings. Are these not being reported in the paper, or were no police reports filed?
