Take the quiz! Which of the following is a clip from protean German director Werner Herzog's unsettling filmography and which is a political campaign ad from Democratic presidential candidate Mike Gravel? #1. #2. Take your time...this one is tough. If you haven't gouged out your eyes with jagged shards of broken computer monitor, which you just smashed in order to make the bad pictures go away, you already deserve a gold star.Answer? It was a trick question...#1 is indeed an actual campaign commercial for former Alaska Senator and Grandpa-Simpson-on-mescaline, Mike Gravel. #2 is a home sex tape of Gravel's fellow Democratic presidential hopeful and erotic Keebler Elf, Dennis Kucinich. To bone up for future brain bleeders (we call them "Tim Johnsons" in the Punditocracy teacher's lounge), be sure to [ listen to and/or read Punditocracy's Actual News!][1] You'll enjoy it more in podcast form, however...reading about Phill Kline masturbating doesn't compare to hearing Phill Kline masturbate. So Gavon, did you catch the CNBC debates last night? Dennis Kucinich claimed he saw an UFO and Bill Richardson said the government should come clean about Roswell (Chris Matthews' facial expression was priceless during this comment)! One of the funniest political events I've seen in a while.
