Uncomfortable Jason Sudiekis Interview for "The Rocker"
Jason Sudeikis ("30 Rock," "Saturday Night Live") is so good as the rock-band manager in ["The Rocker"][1]that he pretty much steals the show. Being rockers ourselves, we wanted to do something a little different than the normal junket interview. Sudeikis was in town, so we ambushed the comedy star with a rock n' roll quiz to see how much of his portrayal was a result of Method acting. As it turns out, this didn't quite go exactly as planned. This is probably the last time we try to quiz a movie star. Yikes! Maybe we should just stick to the regular junket questions. Anyway, enjoy this very uncomfortable interview with Jason Sudeikis from a dirty hotel room somewhere in Kansas City. [1]: http://www.lawrence.com/movies/1865/

Oh wow. That's the funniest thing I've seen in a while. I think you accidentally tapped into Stephen Colbert's and Sacha Baron Cohen's awkward interview magic. It reminded me of Stephen Colbert quizzing some actor, I forget who, who professed not to be a Hollywood type, about really nitty-gritty local issues from the town where he lived, like, "Who do you support in the upcoming Watershed District No. 3 race?"I saw Jason Sudeikis do stand-up recently and he was really funny. The way he takes the quiz so seriously and seems so disappointed to keep failing is kind of endearing.

Stryper!?That was all kinds of awesome, though I kind of felt bad for Jason. As Frank pointed out, he looked genuinely crushed by the whole thing. But wow -- Clarence?

Jason is really funny, which is why this sketch we wrote together turned out so well. I'm glad everyone liked it!
